I think my parents had an 81 toyota tercel. When I think of it, a musty smell comes to memory. We left it outside for years and one whole season with a window open... not so good. When we finally drove it to a scrap shop, it smelled so bad i could barely stand it inside.

my tercel was a great car. it was passed down to me from my great great great grandpa. lol...j.k... it was a bit ugly with rust on the hood but it still was running good even after 150k miles on it.

My initial thought was "hell no, it doesn't look like a last gen 'stang" (note that I recently traded in a last gen 'stang for my TL). Then, driving home from work tonight, I saw in my rearview mirror a TL and a last gen 'stang next to each other right behind me. Got to look at 'em for awhile (traffic was about 10mph) and sure enough the headlights have a great deal of similarity. To a lesser degree, the grill opening does as well. The two will never be mistaken for each other but they both serve their target markets well. I loved the 'stang at that point in my life (early midlife crisis car) and love the TL even more.

I came from 02 mustang. I find headlights are that of same shape. Side markers yes they are about same looking rectangle. I didnt see anything in the back or the side though. Mustang has much longer rear bumper
