Just go my TL - leather question

My second day driving it. I love it. But when I got into it at night. The driver seat leather squeeked whenever I put my back against it. After about an hour 45 minutes of driving it stopped. I figure since it got warm. Only the top left portion. Is there some leather softener I can use or should I take it to the dealer and have them put some leather softener on it?

Lexol conditioner or Pinnacle conditioner are the best of the best, IMHO. I use Lexol and have for years.

Lexol conditioner is what I used and it made a noticeable difference in softness.

I have never used Pinnacle but ordered their Cleaner and Conditioner (all in one) for my MDX but will try it on the TL if the leather gets dirty

Almost all cars in this class the leather means "leather seating surfaces" which usually means anywhere your body touches will be leather, the sides and backs will likely be vinyl. I have on my older cars used the Lexol on what I suspected were vinyl areas and noticed no problems, the key is use it in moderation, don't drench your leather. Frequent light coats rather than baths! I have 35% tint and car is in garage at home, I usually do me seats every 2-3 months on average. Depends how dry they start looking/feeling, more frequently during the warmer sunny months.

Put a shirt on. Skin and leather make funky noises.

Has anyone taken it to the dealer and have them put leather conditioner on the seats?

Why, when it's such an easy and inexpensive task to do yourself? Plus, I only let the dealer do things that I definitely can't do....minimizes their time of getting their greasy palms all over the interior of my car.

I figured where it was coming from. When the headrest is all the way down -- it was rubbing against the seat. I moved the headrest one level up and no more noise. I will still get the leather conditioner and apply it.
