Live in Herndon - work in Arlington. You'll see me cruising the Dulles Toll Road during the rush hours. I'm also spreading the appreciation for the TL. I pick up slugs at Herndon/Monroe in the AM and they always comment on the car.

Well since we are all from the area how about alittle networking.
Anyone know of a good body shop in the area, tint shop, wheels etc? I got my Tint done by TNT in Alexandria. Bodyshop I will not name because they did not do a good job. Currently looking for some new wheels. Any recomendations of local shops? How about detail shops, I have some scratches in my clearcoat that I want to get buffed out. Here's a pic of my beauty...

I was in DC lastnight to eat at Fogo de Chão (Amazing resturant, if you have never been - NOT for vegetarians) - 1101 Pennsylvania Ave NW

While waiting on Valet... a DC Cop walks over to my car and says to my buddy, (who was driving my car).. "You know your Tint is 100% illegal in DC/MD/VA, and your license plate cover is a $250 fine also for being to dark"
My buddy responds (after sending all the windows down) "What tint" then goes onto say "What license plate cover"
Cop was surprisingly cool and then , but then says.. "Are you LEO?"
My buddy is like... ummmmmm
Cop responds, "Clearly your not"
LEO = Law Enforcement Officer
Even though I can't stand cops, I got a kick out of it, that this Cop thought for even a second, that my car MIGHT be legit and MIGHT be used for official LEO work.. LOLOLOL
My gal... With 10% all the way around, since moving from Vienna to Arlington, NOT 1 Tint Ticket (thank god)

I wish I could run without a plate but I go on base all the time and would get hammered for it....

I'm pretty sure that all of us on AZ are fine law abiding citizens and none of us have anything beyond 50/35. I may have mistakenly posted something about 35% all around on some previous threads, but I must have mistyped in those. :wink:
I'm also on the Greenway/Toll Road everyday (although that may change with the 7/1 rate hike). I'll keep my eyes open for you guys & girls on the ride. We should should have a special AZ wave
so you'll know if the other drive is one of us.
