Jumper cables accidently touched?

Hello - General car question, last night my battery died while I was in a parking lot (my fault, had the car off but lights/heated seats were on). Someone offered to jump me that seemed to know what they were doing. They pulled up, we opened both hoods, they correctly connected the jumper cables to my car and when they did this I noticed that they hadn't connected any of the cables on their car yet... and both the positive and negative were close enough together to create a spark before I quickly pulled them apart. After the jump, my car has continued to work luckily without any issues. Do you think if there was any issue, I would know by now? I am concerned that this could have done some damage.

Thanks!

It's nothing. Don't worry about it, next time be careful, you could have caused a fire.

Do you have pics of the spark?
