I've Got An H !!!
This morning, my glorious Navagation system did one of its "I Have No Idea Where The F*ck I Am" routines. It thought I was driving over the Queensborough Bridge, then over the water on the East River while I was actually transversing across Central Park then down the west side. Though this has happened before since I park in an underground garage, it usually straightens itself out within a few minutes........not today!
Knowing which 3 buttons to hit simultaneously to get it into Diagnostics mode, I joyfully ran the Nav diagnostics. Don't remember exactly which buttons I hit at that point, but then system rebooted itself, gave me the message, "Updating Software, Please do not turn engine off" (I've seen this before). It rebooted by itself again, and Presto! I now have the Honda H symbol instead of the Acura starfleet like emblem on the startup screen where you're looking into space over the earth's horizon just before that stupid safety message screen.
At least the friggin thing now knows where the hell it is!
A dealer visit is scheduled for next week.............stay tuned

do you have the same functionality as the acura nav? there was a previous post where the person renamed the honda bin file to acura and loaded up the honda navigation system. i think there was a few extra features(i.e. trip computer) that was not in the acura one. also have your tried rebooting the system again?

What I really need to see is if that female voice still sez "Make U-Turn, Destination is On The Left" when I hit
