Introduced the "new"...to me...2005 TL to Krown

Got her rustproofed yesterday to try and hold off the corrosion and get another 8-10 years out of her. The Canadians rave about it. Two drawbacks are stinky burn-off and messy engine compartment.

Bear in mind that will get you through one winter. It will have to be done every year from now on.

Just make sure it doesn't plug the drain/vent holes.

Yeah but it doesn't drip forever and it is a small price per year to avoid corrosion. It doesn't just prevent body rust. I helps keep the suspension parts in good shape, including the rubber bits.

I haven't used Krown, I've always used Rustcheck, but you're right. Although kind of messy when you're underneath the car, it is well worth it as long as you keep it up. Miss a year and you'll really notice.
