interior color mismatch...any suggestions?

So I took the acura in for some warranty work, a week later I picked the car up with a large grease stain on the A-pilar, I have an 04' RRP w/ Camel interior. So the dealership tells me they will clean it...i get the car back the next day, and the stain wasnt cleaned at all. Then my service rep tells me they will just replace it..I said "it wont match right" and he said "o yea it definitely will". Well here is a picture of the new piece

Driver side (Contrast was decreased 10% )

Passenger Side (Contrast was also decreased 10%)

Honestly, it looks like they changed the tone of the camel interior to a slightly darker one for the new TL's unless my interior has naturally faded that much.

I was wondering if anybody else has had a similar problem, or any suggestions about whether I should go back to acura for this..

On a better note..i just got my progress RSB, CAI, stage 3 exhaust on and my interior LED's are in the mail A niiiice.

Are you really going to drive with the D/S A-pillar looking like that?

You can definitely go back to the stealership and ask for a properly colormatched interior A-pillar cover. Don't take no for an answer, as this is preposterous!

You should definitely take it back and have them fix that.

It's the wrong part

Looks like they ordered or received the wrong part. Of course it is unacceptable. Escalate if you have to, because this is cosmetically unacceptable. And now you're being penalized for their sloppiness. Good luck!

You never should've taken delivery of the "fixed" car. Take it back.

I cannot believe they even wasted time installing the part like that. You should also call Client Services and if possible, send them those pics.

I am at a loss for words. Pathetic and Moronic only begins to describe what I think about the tech and/or dealer that said your car was "fixed".

BTW - those above could be right; looks like they ordered the wrong color/part. There are at least 3 "light" interior colors for the 3G: Parchment, Camel and Taupe. Make sure they get the right one.

ok....well i just called another dealership and talked to a couple people...Found out that they ordered me a light tan interior piece instead of a light ivory piece. they got the color code wrong....You think the tech would notice and say something. I'll definitely be going back for this

It is the dumbest thing i ever see and how dealership release the car that way. But at your end, how can you leave the dealership when you noticed the color mismatch?
