guys,
i've looked, but i haven't seen a clear explanation (at least to me) i have a dgp 2004 tl with the light brown, cream interior.
the door tag says type-c. i've seen it called a bunch of different things, camel, parchment, light cream, etc. which one is correct?
tan-ish...most likely "camel." parchment is more of a cream/off-white color (its the lightest of all the interiors, i believe). they also have taupe, but i think that's a newer flavor for later models which is in between the parchment and camel.
My door says Type C, and I always buy *YR240L* (LIGHT CREAM IVORY) and it always matches.
The weird thing is, I know they make a lighter color of tan and they make a darker color. The lighter color I am thinking of is an off white. The darker color is a Camel color which I see on the 04's a lot.. But nothing on the parts pictures says Camel.
And even more particular, when I logged onto owners.acura.com like 3 or 4 years ago, it said my color was "parchment".. but today when I log on, it says nothing about color..
All i know is I order *YR240L* (LIGHT CREAM IVORY) and it matches pretty close or exact.
(I had my seat out because I was swapping the OPDS with an 07/08 OPDS. And I swapped a few small sub-harnesses that are contained within the seat only and are removable. I am doing this to get rid of my airbag light after the new cluster I installed. ( I bought a rough 07 seat from LKQ locally in dallas for $119.. and took out the opds and the sub-harness.(which might be able to be purchased from acura.. So, that made the swap more convenient and pretty cheap.) Actually, the seats are plug and play with my 05, but the new seat I got kinda smelled.. So I had to swap components and I spliced in the seat sensors since they are glued to the foam. I will make a post about it later.

You are correct.
Didn’t remember posting this, but the following posted 3 years ago is incorrect. The letter designation is a suffix to the part number but has no reference to the interior code.
