As long as the exterior paint job is good, that's enough for me. I got a tracking number and the spoiler was sent off yesterday. Will keep everyone posted.

Unlike LOD, where I believe that the whole thing is painted.

I wanted to let you know what to look for!!! Please, confirm this information upon you receipt of the product. Did he give a lead time for delivery? Hope it shows up soon!!!

I definately understand you point!!! I just wanted to make you aware of what you are getting (did not want you to be suprised). Hopefully the overall quality is great, and most importantly, it fits and looks awsome!!!

i got the imitation lip off of ebay and the color is perfect. The cut of the item is not 100% but it is close enough that the flaws are hardly noticable. The is a slight wave that I noticed on mine if you look at it from the right angle from the side of the car.

otherwise you pay $100 bucks for something painted to oem color and you get that kind of quailty in return.

You won't notice the difference when flying down the highway...

will post pics when I figure out how...

wow this thread has grown!

I do not think Kris is a fraud. I think he is just a very unorganized guy who started getting ALOT more business than he could handle on his own. I dont think he is a fraud because look at all the good business he did until recently. I think alot of people caught on to him just like you guys did after I first announced it on the board and he couldnt keep up with his orders and paint jobs. For the record I got mine in exactly two weeks and could not be happier with the quality and paint job. The paint job looks alot better than most peoples aspec kits thats for sure. Sorry u guys got screwed but at least pay pal has buyer protection.

Just had to add my

Sorry, but I have to differ with you. Yes Paypal has buyer protection, I got SOME of my money back, but not all. I'm still out $25. Sure, it's only $25, but it is still money that I paid with nothing to show for it, and I had to wait over one month to get even some of my money back.

And if Kris couldn't handle the new business, THEN STOP RUNNING AUCTIONS UNTIL YOU CATCH UP! It's easy, don't run an e-bay listing and take people's money unless you can deliver! That is basically the #1 rule of ebay, for cripes' sake.

I'm sorry, I just don't have a lot of kind words for people who rip off others.

I am very careful with my Ebay selling for just that reason. I go to great lengths to make sure the people I sell to are happy before I place more auctions up there. I'm small volume for sure, but I don't wanna any negatives...

Negatives are bad, um-K....

For what it's worth, I just received this from another eBay member -

---
"techventuressg" ripped me off, heres are his new IDs that i assume are his... "techventservgrpinc" "amoro_auto" "amoro_investment_group" looks like the same format of postings and all setup around the same time his old account is suspended from. please help with reporting to ebay, as i have done my share, and hope everybody can come together to prevent any future people from being ripped off.
---

I didn't technically get "ripped off" since I did eventually get my spoiler but I'd definitely warn anyone else against doing business with him and encourage anyone who did get ripped off by him to report him to PayPal and eBay...

-LOD

P.S. Bob, no I still haven't had a chance to install it. Still sitting in my office and going to try to take some pictures this afternoon if I have the time...

Here are a couple of quick pictures of the spoiler... you can see the line on the bottom where it wasn't completely painted...

I've got to agree with you, elsensei. Before he pulled his last 2 names, his recent feedback was almost all the same..."I paid my money and never got a product, and he never replied to my emails." I could understand if he just got behind, but all he had to do was email people and explain the situation. I too managed to get most of my money back from PayPal, thankfully, but that last $25 burns.

I was one of his earlier customers. Got the spoiler within about 3 weeks. Paint job looks nice, but the curve on the spoiler doesn't match the end of the trunk; so I'm not sure what to do with it. Someone said they bent their spoiler into shape, but it doesn't appear to bend that easily and I don't want to put a messy home-made curved spoiler on my car.

Just received the WDP lip spoiler from Superautobac. It arrived promptly. The material is a heavy, high quality, slightly flexible plastic. It fits very well. The paint has pearls, but not as much as OEM and the white is slightly brighter than OEM.

I'm in the middle of exams so I will mount and take pics later. Hope that helps!

Can you post a picture or 2? Is it painted completely, or just the exposed portion? How does it match you cars paint? Does it have the blue in it? I am planning on ordering one, but got burned last time so I want to make sure!!! This guy seems pretty good?!?!

I'll try to post a picture in the next day or so. Just the exposed portion was painted, not all of the bottom which you can't see anyway. It was a very good match IMO, and does have the blue in it.

If you tried to use the Attachment Option, it doesn't work.

You can get a picture host, like Photobucket, post your pictures there, and then put them in your thread.

For more information on hosting pictures, check out this thread in 3G Photo Gallery.

Let us know how well the paint matches once you get it installed. I want to get one, but want to make sure the paint match is pretty good first.

Talking Anthracite, YES!

Yep, got my buy-it-now in today as well, so hopefully we will be as satisfied as everyone else is with these reasonably priced alternatives to acuras rediculously priced piece. Honestly as long as the quality and most importantly the finish is nice, I would MUCH rather have this than the OEM and have to drill my trunk! Plus, saving oh 300 bucks or so isn't bad either! Shall post pics when I get mine installed....

Sweet!

Hey thanks for the tip, just got my lip spoiler from him as well with the buy it now, and paid for it right away. Do you fit this just by eye, or are there intructions? How does that work? Well Im sure I will see once I get it.

Anybody order NBP spoiler from Trimking? I ordered mine and had to hae it sent back because the paint under the clear coat was crackling all along it (maybe from flexing spoiler right after paint dried). I received another and still have the same problem. Anyone else running into this from trim King or superautobac?

I ordered WDP spoiler from Trimking and had the same problems. The packaging allowed the spoiler to flex and cracked the paint. It took a couple of weeks, but they sent a replacement that seems to made from a more flexible material and it worked OK. I had to bend it along the edge of the trunk during install, but it looks great. Spoiler came with tape and no bolts. Fairly easy install.
