I was distracted by my phone ringing and I accidently turned the ignition off while still in "D" in a parking spot. The key would not come out of the ignition, due to still being in gear. I realized my error and shifted to park, then turned the car on, pulled forward a bit, and then shifted to park again and turned the car off.

Would this result in any damage to the transmission or other parts?
