IF you have $933.78 dollars...
I recently got rear ended and today I received a check for
$933.78
to rent a car for the period of time the body shop estimated for my car..
but guess what....
I DON'T NEED A RENTAL!
So what do you guys think I should md on my car?
Sound system is done..
Got springs..
Have rims..
Intake is on..
im thinking about making a custom magnaflow exhaust.. but what do do with the other 600 or so dollars?
Don't say SEND IT TO ME! either
Any suggestions??

If i were you my top prioriety would be to get some koni shocks, those oem's will eventually go bad. Then you would have about $200 left you can use that for 1. savings 2. Christmas 3. Buy a nice bottle of champange for new yrs. 4. and the best option donate it to me via pay pal (had to say it)

Go to the casino to a roulette table and put 500 on red!! If you win, you made another $500.00. If you lose, you still have enough for the magnaflows
....Never mind, i just realized you are only 18. But it was worth the thought.

$933.78 sounds like an awful lot of money for a rental. Before you deposit that check or do anything with it, I would make sure that it isn't supposed to cover the repairs. All those mods sound great but if you have to pay for them all out of pocket, or have to pay for the repairs out of pocket because you used the money to mod your car, I don't think you are going to be all that thrilled. You should talk with the body shop and/or the AAA office that cut you the check.

Thats not a lot considering how long it takes the collision center to fix my car.. AAA gave me 32.99 dollars per day plus tax and the collision center quoted them about 30 days to complete...
The other check for the repairs is around $4800, rental is a different check addressed to me.
I think ill just get the exhaust done and save the rest...
btw has anyone tried the rockblocker light protection film for the headlights in blue or yellow? i saw a 350z today with the blue film and i think it looks pretty nice... not sure how its going to look on our TL though.. its only 49.99 on the site
btw to flvol...
im not getting a resonator.. just straight through 2.25 piping to the y and then to two SS mufflers with stock tips..

Congrats to you!!! Sounds like you lucked out, but it also sounds like a long time for a repair. Hope they do it right.

naw don't pull bs like that with unless your neck does hurt, I was about to be a financial planner and took insurances courses.. stuff like that causes insurance to be expensive which is what you see now and the past few years.

How about you donate it to someone that needs it more then you. There are so many unfortunate children who have nothing for chirstmas this year. $900 buys A LOT of presents. Just a thought.

Where did you go for that price? Name, Phone? I wonder how much labor is..

Convert the money into dollar bills...or better yet quarters. Take a roll of packaging tape and line up 8 foot strips. Line the quarters up on the strips of packaging tape until you have a full strip of quarters. Use these strips as "bumper" protectors for your car or "door ding" protectors. LOL.
I actually would get tint. What about a NAV to DVD player conversion?
