I want to change my air filter and cabin filter...
I want to change both, and I wonder what are the part numbers for both and can I use off name brands other than honda to replace them? Also where are the filters and how can i get to them with instructions. Thanks.![Thumbs Up](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)

Yes you can use "off brands", just make sure they're good ones. The stock OEM engine air filter is a bi-filter with an oil-wetted element on the bottom side and a dry paper element on the top. It is a high quality piece, but expensive. I use the Purolator A25585 filter for my engine and the Purolator C35519 for my cabin (I'm pretty sure those are the correct part numbers).
Also, if you don't know where these filters are located, you might hold off trying to do this until you better understand your car. If you can find a Service Manual for the '04, buy it. I did as soon as I bought my '04 manual TL. They are invaluable and inexpensive. If you have questions or need some pointers, I live about 6 miles from Manassas.. send me a PM.
