Exactly 2 month ago I bough a brand new 06 TL 6MT with Navi; however, since day one I started fighting well know rattles. Now, after two months battle, my TL (I think) is rattle free. Below is the list of rattles and fixes I have experienced.

• Door rattling/buzzing with music on - removed sunglass holders and applied felt along the lines where the door packets open, so there is no direct contact with hard plastic.
• Steering wheel rattle – applied felt inside the steering wheel to the wiring
• Back subwoofer rattle – a dealer found a missing screw from the middle seat belt mechanism – installed missing screw per dealer notes
• Center speaker – broke one clip when I tried to pry it out. Reinstalled the grill (without using any felt) and the noise is gone
• The most annoying and at the same time the easiest fix! I had a rattle what I though was coming from the rear back. Basically, it was a front passenger headrest that was making constant noise when extended even one notch up. I pushed the headrest all the way down and the noise is gone!

Looks like ur winning the battle.

Im one of the lucky one, from day 1 of my 05 TL/navi..I had no rattles at all. I even read up on the forum on the rattle problems of the 04, b4 i got my TL. I am very anal about my car and...im just glad i have no rattles.
