I need a little help
Hey guys, I have a few question about paint and body. Im in search for a front bumper for my 07' TL-S because mine is VERY nasty from being on the HWY 90% of it's short life. It is very sand blasted looking and I would like to get another one that's in better shape. It's actually cheaper for me to just get another bumper than it is for me to fix mine. Now my questions:
Does an 08' TL-S front bumper fit on an 07'?

I would say labor wise it would be cheaper to replace the cover other wise you have to pay repair time for sanding all the stone chips on top of the refinish cost.

I'm a little confused on how it would be cheaper to buy a whole new bumper cover. They can sand it, prime it and repaint it. And you save yourself 300 bucks for a new bumper cover...and if you drive on the highway a lot I'd recommend getting a clear bra.

A quality shop would charge A LOT of money to sand down the cover to repaint it, which would be a waste as the paint will stick better to a new cover then a repaired one.
Look at is this way. a new cover is ~250.00 the shop will charge you at least that to sand down the cover, prime, and block it. then on top they will charge you refinish time of ~2.5 hours plus material.
Might as well start new even if it costs you a little more.

^^exactly what I mean when I say it's cheaper if I can get a new bumper. Im not missing any pieces or have any cracks but it does appear that the previous owner had the front bumper repainted before for some reason. My shop guy will charge me a pretty penny to work on it. If he was to work on my bumper and repaint it I would only save about $150-$175 VS him getting me a new bumper and starting fresh.

You will not only save money but you will never have to worry about pealing! The new paint job is just as good as the one under it! Good plan!
By the way your list of cars is awesome! I wanted a r33 GTR forever so i just got the RB25 out of the non GTR and put it my my 240sx HICAS!

^ sweet on the RB25!! You can make some monster power out of those if done right. I had an R33 GTS with the RB25 in it first before I sold it for the GTR. That GTS was just as mean and powerful as the GTR!! The only major difference is the AWD and TT (not talking about all the little things that make the RB26). I hope you put 'Skyline powered' on your 240 lol.

On another note though, were can I find an OEM front bumper or if anyone is selling an aftermarket one? And does the 08' TLS bumper fit on an 07'?

I know (obviously) you can get it from the dealership. And yes, any 3G bumper fits any 3G.

I say just keep your current bumper and have the body shop repair it. If you were to purchase a new bumper, you'd have to get it painted anyways. Chips and nicks are bound to happen... so a bra would be good. If you're not into those leather ones, they have the clear kind.
