Pro Cats are aftermarket highflow converters. (exhaust)

Why do you capitalize every word in your sentences?

just to elaborate on the above posters comment, E-Shift Pro Cats are higher flowing Catalytic converters for the exhaust. They yield 10-20 WHP depending on the model of the car.

How it works:
THe TL has 3 catalytic converters from the factory with a denisty of 1200 cells. the E-Shift replaces all 3 with ones with 200 density. This allows the exhaust to be much more freer flowing.

Actually, the 3.2L TL's have 900cell/inch CATS and the 3.5L TL-S's have 600 cell/inch CATS

i used to think it was like 1000 or 1200, you probably read it one here first like i did..

i spent a couple hours reading about on ULEV/Exhaust for the TL's/TL-S...

I had these installed on my 06 TL and I contemplated getting them again for my Type S, but after reading the thread PRO CATS ARE NOW NO CATS for now, i learned alot about the emissions systems on the ULEV vehicles and the pro-cats werent designed to withstand the extreme amount heat in the first few seconds the car is running.

ULEV's heat up EXTREMELY fast, in order to cut down on bad emissions... honda knew that when they created our CATS, but i dont think e-shift took that into consideration when they made the pro-cats..

awesome product for some quick N/A gains.. but at a $1000, and the risk of failure... i dunno... i wouldnt buy them again for $1k.... $500, definitely
