I LEGIT Bought an UNICORN! NOT CLICKBAIT!
Guys check it out, i bought my first unicorn, first buy through Acurazine, first purchase across states, cleanest one I've bought, and definitely THE ONE i am keeping until wheels fall off.
Saw the AD in the black market and was shocked that only 2 people responded after couple months I contacted Jack and he said it was still for sale.
I knew right away I am buying it without even asking anything about the car, we spoke on the phone and he told me everything about the car and what an amazing guy to deal with.
He was honest and upfront about everything, I contacted him on Sunday and took the bus out to NYC following Saturday from NoVA. What an amazing experience, everything was buttery smooth.
It's an 04 TL NBP/Ebony SIX MFingT with ONLY 60K and get this... FACTORY ASPEC PACKAGE, which includes different steering wheel, suspension, body kit and infamous 18" wheels.
Car is in amazing condition with minor NYC bruises on the bumper but the interior is MINT and the carpet mats are still in plastic wrap from factory.
105k service hasn't been done yet and the clutch is original and feels super smooth. Jack did the famous GM Synchromesh swap twice so the gearbox is buttery smooth.
LOVING EVERY SECOND WITH IT.
Drives like a new car, most of the miles were put on the first few years. It's mostly been sitting in the garage for the last few years with occasional weekend drives.
Look out in the black market for my current 05 6MT 138k NBP/Beige
(nothing wrong with my current 6MT but how often do you get the chance to buy an UNICORN?)
Ask any questions!

Congrats! It looks immaculate. Enjoy her in good health, you seem very happy to say the least
I still remember seeing a NBP, ebony 6MT on a lot a long time ago when I was helping somebody find a car. Couldn't afford it at the time, but I was very surprised to see it.

For the love of God,
Please take care of this damn unicorn and don't let any of your friends bone it.
It's an 04, not an 05, Just wanted to make sure you knew.
One piece short of a real A-spec, the wing spoiler on the trunk.

Really nice car, but I wouldn't say it's a unicorn. Unicorns have to be uncommon, which this one is, but also highly sought after, which this one is not. Hopefully you didn't pay a unicorn price because it's really essentially the same as the car you already have (and are trying to sell).

I think the official A-spec did not came until 2005? even its an 05 you still missing the rear spoile, the 04 model it was know as "sport" package.

I thought they offered 2 types of wing? Also it has the different steering wheel.
Lol don't worry I have a hard time letting family drive my car so friends won't be touching it. It'll be stock as-is I am not big into mods.

Very clean car!!
Even though folks hate them, invest in some body side moulding. I have it now on all my cars and wish I had gotten them when they were new. $500 per car to remove all the dings from folks slamming their door into the cars and then the cost of the BSM. Ebay has them for under $200 and are well worth it.

The A-spec package has been a dealer installed item. All 3rd gen TL's came out of the assembly plant without any accessories or packages. Some dealerships offered Comptech superchargers and exhausts as a performance package. A rare TL is one that is an A-spec, 6MT with navigation. Depending on the color, it can make a difference in which one would be in higher demand and with what packages. The Type-s 6MT is harder to find, especially if it's Blue or Red.

Enjoy your unicorm YoungMoola! Be careful in the rain. Things can go south quickly in the rain with unicorms.

Mr. Detail
There isn't a "unicorn" car on the planet I'd buy in black, even if it only came in black. And I detail cars for a living. It isn't just Honda/Acura either. Nissan has terrible black paint, Subaru is the worst though. Just dreadful.
If that car was silver or blue, I'd be all over it!

Also, dentless paint repair is much cheaper than $500.

I looked at a 2011 wrx and the paint was worse than my 00 accord. I too am done with black. My accord was nighthawk black and it really was a beautiful paint job. I liked it so I had to keep it clean and I became obsessive sort of. Luckily my rx7 was already on its second paint job and they did a shitty job so I didnt care, but it was still black and showed dirt so fast and super easy.
I really did not want silver for my TL. Now that I have it I know why so many people get silver cars lol. You cant see dirt or dings easy! Its great. Anything but black or white for me, I had white before too and that also sucks. Unless you actually have the time and space and ENJOY washing your car every weekend. I actually did about ten years ago with that accord.
Just flat ugly ass white. That was like my cavalier. Honda throws in little touches to make the paint more special I like that a lot.

They were at one point. Comptech parts were highly sought after at one point, mainly because it was factory approved mods that didn't void warranty.

"Yeah some dealerships do this, i know back in 2005 we would sell comptech parts that you could have installed when u purchased your car and they would be worrintied with the car and u could roll payment in to your monthly car payment"
"Sure, Criswell in Annapolis used to sell Comptech.....they would cover the warranty if they did the install. They would order any parts from their catalog, including supercharger kits and do installs."
