I had visited my local acura dealership website to check if there are any new deals out there for accessories or discounts on service as I need a wheel alignment. I called up asking to check pricing on the A-spec kit for my car, an 05 and they tell me it was discontinued..
WTF

All i wanted was the full lip kit and its no longer available.... damn that sucks

and then they said I would have my car back by 2pm because they have tons of alignments to do.. As I was walking home I was thinking I should have told them that I would take my car somewhere else but didnt think of it at the time...

Whoever you spoke with at the dealership doesn't really know what's going on.

IMO, he just cost the dealership $800 .. that's if you were ready to buy it on the spot.

lol and just imagine finding out a a-spec kit is discontinued is your biggest problem you have it really good :-)

No im just kidding. Just out of curiousity why dont you check online or ebay? As far as I know the a-spec kits are still available. Acura ebay stores such as Curry Acura or Peoria Acura seem to have tons of stuff available and its gonna be much cheaper than what it would cost at your local stealership.

eff that I would NOT have walked. They should have given you a ride, what a bunch of losers! When I have to wait for my car one of the guys drops me off at the mall or they give me a loaner....
One time they tried to give me a neon I was NOT having it so I made them call enterprise and rent me a car hahahaha, I ended up with an Altima which was ok.
Call them right now and tell them you expect to be picked up when your car is ready!!

You must live really close to the dealership if you walked. They should be able to pick you up.

Wow... just bought my A Spec off ebay from a dude in Canada... plenty of stuff like that on ebay to be had. For those who may be interested... getting ready to do a brake swap from the 04 5AT to the Brembo setup same year 6MT. Got all the parts and will post EXACTLY what you need too include part numbers.

acura usually produces accessories like this for almost 7 years after the inital release date of the car. You should have them available until at least 2013!

yeah i wanted to walk home since it was the first nice day since the snow melted.. BUT I HAD to call them to see if my car was ready.. we had reserved a T time to play golf far away and for me to walk 10 min to pick up my car, I dont know why he didnt offer to have me picked up.. but I was offerd to be droped off
