you can do whatever you want to your baby....40k...probably just oil change, change filters, maybe a drain and refill on the transmission fluid, rotate and balance tires, etc. or complete 3x3 process on the transmission fluid...

good luck

at 38K there isn't really anything to do if the maintainance has been done on time. Do you know if the cabin filter was changed? Engine air filter? If not, we can meet up some time, get the fogs done and I can check and change the filters and show you how to do it, its pretty easy to do, a philips scewdriver and a jacket. BTW, 35 degrees here at 6 AM.

With all those miles on it, it may be time to unload it and get a new one. You never know what could happen at this point.

TL has approx 9 qt of fluid in the transmission.

The once is for just drain where the car will let out 3 qt of transmission fluid and you refill it backup the 3qt.

3X3 method is the correct method to change out the transmission fluid completely where drain 3 qt then warm up the car, then refill. then repeat this process 2 more time hence 3x3 method. Your ACURA dealership should know about this. Here is a thread about it.

Good luck

I assumed he meant beyond basic maintenance - fluids, etc.

Though I haven't done coolant.
