I feel like a bad TL owner

So I've been researching more maintenance codes regarding the auto trans in the 3rd gen. I feel like a bad owner! I didn't know that Acura recommended transmission fluids to be changed in 3 year intervals (I don't think mine has ever been changed). So I"m doing that ASAP.

I was suggested by a friend to use "redline's auto trans fluid" I just don't remember the exact name. Do you all suggest this brand as well? I'm not really concerned with the added cost of going with a name brand fluid as long as the quality of product is there.

Amazon has a case of 12 quarts (allows me to do a 4x3 flush instead of the common 3x3 I've read here on the forums) for $137 shipped link here

http://www.amazon.com/Red-Line-Racin.../dp/B000T9TM8S

Do you guys suggest this? I'm right at 146k and the trans still shifts fine (cold weather here in SC around 44 degrees gives it a little trouble when cold, but its fine otherwise). Do you all have any personal recommendations regarding fluid? Thanks in advance for any suggestions & advice.

I usually change out mine every 20k-30K or about 3-4 oil changes. Just to have flesh fluids in.

I thought only the brake fluid goes by the every 3 year change. Transmission fluid change when the code appears.

if you like firm tight shifts use redline type F or amsoil supershift racing fluid.

there's optimal percentage racing fluid thread.

I'd stick with the new Honda fluid. I think its DW1 now instead of Z1. I heard good things about it.
