I can't be alone!?
Am I the only one who thinks the TL is perfect the way it is with no modifications except window tint? (No disrespect to you guys with the mods and rims)

Yeah, I am in total agreement with you and just think of the things we could spend the extra money on. I have plenty of people come up to me to comment on what a nice car it is with no mods!!!

Different strokes for different folks.
I've never been one to even touch my car with any mods so I'm not really into it; however, I think the people that do mod their cars have a passion for it and do it because they love their TL.
Do I think the TL looks great as is, yes. Do I think VTech=Happiness's TL looks great dropped and with a lip spoiler, yes. Do I think others who have tweeked their TL's with wheels, tint, etc... look great, yes.
Just different strokes for different folks.

When I'm driving it, I forget how beautiful it acutally is. Then when I see one coming at me on the otherside of the highway, I'm like Damn, that is one fine looking car.

Hey, I'm with you, as far as looks go! I don't have any spoiler, ground effects, etc. Just tint (Silver car with silverish tint; not totally mirrored).
As far as performance goes, though, I want some more ponies. I have an Injen CAI on order, and I'd like to get an underdrive pulley and whatever becomes available as far as modding the ECU(or whatever the hell they call the computer these days).

O4TLBLACK: I HAVE cleared out headlights. They look sweet. Mr_ on the GEN II board did them, and as far as I know, i am the ONLY one with them so far :thefinger

TL great as is..
You are definitely not alone. I think the TL with some tint looks awesome...stock. No new rims, airdams nothing...The car to me looks like a cooler version of the BMW 5 series. Every time I see it from a different angle or if I see a different color coming down the road I admire its beauty. My 2 favorite colors right now on the tl are black and anthracite. If I am going to put money into the car it will be on the interior because thats where I am...
I would consider upgrading the speakers or
I was thinking about hooking up a laptop/dvd somehow---maybe a tablet pc..
Perhaps when I get soem spare time.

I love my car stock. My only planned mod is (if I can get it) the A-spec suspension, which is a form of "stock".

On the exterior, I really don't want to change anything. The only mod I have done is to paint the rear calipers black to match the fronts - very minor - but a nice addition. I like the stock rims, and don't really care for the body kits. Like neuronbob, I might like to go with an A-spec suspension (or equiv) at some point.
On the interior, I am a really big fan of the Quartz and the carbon fiber, but would like something to warm it up a bit. I am considering the dark burl wood kit to augment the carbon fiber. Other than that it is perfect.

Other than that it's factory all the way.
