I hope we don't have to wait over a year for this to happen unlike the V2-R

Get your panties out of a wad. I'm one of the few people in that thread who aren't bitching about how long it's taking for the j-pipe. I'm really looking forward to seeing it released.
Clearly you didn't get my sarcasm in that post. I thought it would be clear by the
at the end.
For being a vendor who wants to make money from us, you sure get an attitude quickly. Keep that up and you may lose a few customers.

Please reconsider unsolicited sarcastic comments next time. That's all.

I was just poking a little fun, that's all ![Shrug](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/shrug.gif)
In no way was I talking down about your products or your service. I think I've pushed ATLP products harder than anyone else on here and steer people to you when I don't have an answer to their question.
I'm sure these coils will sell quickly! Good luck!

I very much do appreciate your support and realize your anxiousness and anticipation that was fueling it.

^From what I remember, the V2's have a tweaked damper that performs better than the original release version. I could be wrong though...

- More/Less low speed compression damping
- More/Less high speed compression damping
- More/Less low speed rebound damping
- More/Less high speed rebound damping
- Increased thermal capacity
etc...
To illustrate, here is a random shock dyno I got from Google. This damper has adjustable rebound. The lower portion of the graph is rebound, the top half is compression. As you can see compression is considerably softer than rebound since rebound generally controls the motion of the chassis, while compression is said to control the motion of the much lighter suspension. The further from the horizontal center-line you go, the stiffer the damping becomes.
![](http://www.fortune-auto.net/FWThumbnails/Fortune%20Auto%20Shock%20Dyno.jpg)
Now you can see the left-most area of the dyno we start with the low speed damping. On both compression and rebound the rate should increase at a rather steep angle. At some point that angle hits a knee and becomes more shallow. This is the transition between the low-speed and high-speed internal valving. Typically called "digressive" valving. If you look at this damper's rebound characteristics, it's performance is only marginal at best IMO. It's lower settings (purple line) have almost no digressive effect to them. Valving doesn't even become digressive till about 75% of MAX stiffness. And even then the rate still rises considerably after the knee. A good digressive valving will be much more shallow after the knee. Also the rebound damping adjustment should move the graph more to the left than further away from the center. This increases low-speed damping and not ride harshness.
As a general rule, low-speed damping effects your handling, and high speed effects ride quality (not always true btw).
Here is another graph comparing a Bilstein "blue" to a Koni Sport "yellow". As this graph is inverted relative to the previous graph (rebound is now on top). You can see how both types of dampers have a much more digressive angle to them in rebound. Note that Bilstein's have long been considered too harsh for Honda applications. This chart explains why.

BTW: I would love to see some dyno graphs of these K-sport dampers both front & rear. Especially the ones with adjustable valving. It's VERY important to understand how adjusting the knob effects low vs hi speed damping. It's also important to know if there is any cross talk between rebound & compression when making adjustments.

Oh I get the sarcasm. I just don't understand why you posted it. You are referencing a completely different topic in a completely different thread. That is a development thread for a new product that we already indicated we had no release date for. This is an existing product that you can buy right now and we are giving a courtesy heads up that if you are thinkomg of buying you might wait for a week or so. That people appriciate.
Please reconsider unsolicited sarcastic comments next time. That's all.

Sale pricing is up now: http://www.heeltoeauto.com/ht-spec-v...07-accord.html
Pricing is an approximate 5% off regular pricing.
The thing that is better with the V2 kit is the shock valving. I don't have a shock dyno to show the improvements but in general we soften the rear and firm up the front and add a little front preload. This offers a much more balanced setup than the standard F2, allowing street and performance driving without a change of setup.
It is a public forum. Make whatever thread you want to. Don't be alarmed at the push back if someone dislikes your comments though.
