How are these prices for extended warranty?

AcuraCare policy, 07 TL w/ near 0 miles on the clock:

7 years/100,000 miles warranty: ($100 deductible = $866.00) OR ($0 deductible = $966.00)
7 years/120,000 miles warranty: ($100 deductible = $1,116.00) OR ($0 deductible = $1,216.00)
8 years/100,000 miles warranty: ($100 deductible = $1,066.00) OR ($0 deductible = $1,166.00)
8 years/120,000 miles warranty: ($100 deductible = $1,316.00) OR ($0 deductible = $1,416.00)

I was actually looking for an extended warranty for a Civic, and noticed that the site offered quotes for the TL as well, so I figure that I pass them along. The site had the best prices for HondaCare, so how do these prices go for AcuraCare?

Thanks for posting the info - Do those extend the manufacturer bumper-bumper warranty, or are they some sort of limited warranty?

They are offered by Acura, under the AcuraCare program, so they extend the original warranty and add additional benefits as well. This isn't a 3rd party warranty at all...this is offered by Acura.

I just passed this along as I was shopping for an extended warranty for a Civic, and figured that I might as well pull up a quote for the 3G TL gang.

That sounds like pretty good prices. I mean I don't know what dealer cost is, but I work for Nissan, and those prices are all but the COST of our warranties...they're marked up from there. That is for a new car though basically....if you decided to purchase after you put miles on the car, the cost goes up as risk increases.

I didn't think that any of these warranties covered wear and tear.

They are about the same as I have seen before from Curry Acura and Del Ray Acura.

Acura care is a good policy as it covers all the electonics including the nav system.

Both the above dealers do a large Internet business. I would also check with our friendly sponsor: Montclaire Acura.
