I paid $4.49 for 93 octane today. I get 17 mpg city and drive 50 to 60 miles daily, most days. I usually put in about $70 a week. Top tier gas only.

dang! I get 300 to 340 miles on a tank, and I fill up once a week, and pay around $53 for a full tank. but its 70% highway

Even though I did spark plugs, and ATF change. I barely reach the 300 mark anymore. I do need a valve adj. really soon. So that might be contributing to lower mpg than what I am use too.Originally Posted by NetoAzul

I fill up every 2 weeks, i average about 22mpg (according to MID) and my office is less than 3 miles from my house, i think i can last longer because it rarely goes over 12 gal everytime i fill up!!!

My commute is only about 15 miles round trip and I usually fill up once every week and a half. I make up for the easy commute with 2 quite fun on ramps so my MPG drops drastically since I can enjoy them at 4am when I go to work.
I commute to school from Monday to Friday. That would usually cost around $50, plus I drive to Toronto on weekends every week, which cost around $25-30.
Total = $80
Total = $80

When it was my only car. I was filling up every 3 days. Sometimes 4, if the traffic is really nice the whole week.
I sit in stop-n-go traffic everyday averaging about 20mpg on a 75 mile commute.

i only drive my type-s on weekends and fill up once a month. i average 28mpg city (6-spd). gas here in chicago was like $4.25 for reg couple days ago

In NJ:
-A tank will last me ~ 1.5 weeks, averaging 24-25 mpg (mixed driving), and a tank will last ~ 320-340 miles (I fill when the needle is just above the E). Price is $3.93/gallon now for 91, and a fill is generally ~ $54. So yearly fuel cost is ~ $1870 or so (average).

I drive around 500 miles per week and usually fill up 1.5-2 tanks. I go through between $350 and $400 per month on gas.
I am addicted to driving the car, really just don't care how much gas costs. For a car nut such as myself who enjoys driving, gas could be $10/gallon and I still wouldn't care.

I fill up once every 3-4 weeks and a couple times have made it nearly 5 weeks. I work close to home (well, the company car is close to home). My average mpg is only 13 because my average mph is only 15mph due to traffic and the fact that nearly half of the drive time is with the car idling.
There was a time when I was filling up every other day for the first couple years I owned the car when I commuted.
Most miles on one tank is driving to Phoenix, I get about 528 miles on a tank driving the speed limit and not stopping at all and the tank topped off.

On average it's about every 17 days as I have a relatively short commute (12 miles round trip) and we use the Mrs. vehicle on the weekends and long trips.

Every 3-5 days. Drive 75 miles a day monday-friday for school. That's nearly 400 miles a week just for school. Spend about $400/month for gas.
I always go to the same Shell gas station because it's usually 10-15 cents cheaper than any other Shell/Texaco/Chevron/Exxon. Plus I like V-Power!

once a week to once every 2 weeks. I bike to work most days, and drive up to LA on the weekends.

It usually ranges from every week to two weeks depending on how much driving I have to do.
Instructor
I fill up weekly, I get up to 300 miles on a single tank. I filled up for 45 dollars this last time, just about a 1/4 of a tank left.
I do a lot of highway driving and get around 25-26mpg mostly.

Its the small things that do the big trick, like don't drive with windows down on the highway, or filling up on 100% gas or the 10% ethanol stuff does make a difference. I do grandma driving.Originally Posted by MandoTL

I havent.. I live in TX and I don't believe there are any "Sunoco" stations around here.. There's a "Conoco" though!. But no, I have not tried that either.Originally Posted by pakya

I've owned my TL for nearly 2 years now and I have not filled up on anything besides Shell V-Power since owning the car. I always told myself I wouldn't mind filling up with Texaco, Chevron, or Exxon because they all use their own special fuel additive blends to prevent carbon build up and what not, but I always find myself filling up with Shell anyways.. lol
