^^^what condition the car is in (exterior) like any dings or dents or service record (carfax as well as copies of paperwork). I wouldn't pay over $15 k for it, try to talk them down to $15k, however it has nice combo go with it lol. blk/blk and navi is a plus.

I got my 06 TL a/t black on black no navi last june for $16,300 with 100 000km (60k miles) and I love it. Great ride, luv the black when it's clean but hate it cuz it gets dirty so quickly and little bit of dirt shows easily. I'd look at silver and pearl white too, dirt doesnt show so easily. Try to bring the price down to 15k or lower as truonghthe said.

Mine is black on black also, 06 base with navi and 88k miles. I paid 15,100. I know I overpaid but honestly I love the car to death. No regrets.

You can find better ones. Its a 6 year old car with over 100k miles. You can get'em in the 12k-13k range and that's before talking down.
I got mine recently almost the same as your original candidate. 2006 Nighthawk Black Pearl with Ebony Interior Navigation 75k miles. I got it for 12.4k, 13.9k out the door; New York sales tax, plates, registration, fees etc.
I know the price was a steal so karma hit back. After driving it for these weeks. I had some work done on it and it ate about $900 in repairs...

'06? Timing belt changed? If in excellent condition and you feel that $2k is worth the 43k mile difference, your choice, but I'd look for one, '04-'05 with lower mileage.

the price is actually very good considering it is from a dealer. the miles are fairly low and it has navigation. you would be hard pressed to find another in similar mileage/price. i would offer them 16.5k for it out the door.

I just bought my 06 5at no navi(damn) with only 55k on it exterior and interior in perfect condition. One owner, all service records. I paid 14,5. They had it listed for 16 but I talked him down to that.

2006 model still holds a really good value. I think $17k out the door is a bit much though. Loaded, I would probably spend no more than $16k for everything and would only jump that price up if an extended warranty backs it up. Our '06 RBP TL w/ 53,700 miles & Navi has a KBB just under $17k for a personal sell.

I recently just purchased a 04 tl navi with A-Spec and 55k miles on it 1 owner for $13,300 before tax from my local Acura dealer and car is mint.
I would assume $16k is a good price.

the accident was early in the car's life. deosn't seem to have had any adverse effects now. of course a clean carfax doesn't mean the car doesn't have skeletons in the closet.
if there is a way to find out where the damage was then determine whether it's worth it. the car will essentially be 7 yrs old this year and with ONE owner. obviously the one and only owner didn't find any thing wrong with continuing to own the car well after the accident. up to you. i'd at least go look at it, and bring an extra set of eyes to check for paint inconsistencies and bumpers/VINs etc.

for the market off your link...it's a fair price. you can try and work them down a little. you have at most a $2k window of wiggle room. you'd need to take care of teh recall that's open on the car.
honestly, you need to go test drive and see these cars in person before you ask us what price you should be paying. i'm sure by now with all the shopping you have done...you have a price range for dealers and private party. compare across the board with KBB, edmundn's and nada. have a range in mind that is fair and reasonable without being too insulting.
negotiating price before seeing and driving the car (at least used) is pointless and a waste of everyone's time if you are not intersted after seeing it.
do your homework. of course we are happy to help, but research of the numbers is going to help you figure out a fair price and then what you see and feel with the car is up to you and how picky you want to be.

guess that means you're looking at the 06 today. be patient...you'll find one to your liking. when you do find "the one" jump on it. esp if the car is really clean for its age and in good condition.
you have to be comfy with a price that you are willing to pay for the car. good luck in the hunt.

The 06 looking nice however according to Carfax it does not have much record except for the power steering wheel hose recall. I would say that you need to get a mechanic go with you and take a look. You know OTD price for the 06 will be much more than $17K right?
