how much did you pay for your 2004TL in Seattle area?

Hi all, have spent sometime to read a lots of post on this site, I got a lots of helpful info so far. Now I am ready to buy the 2004 TL(5AT w/o Nav). It seems like people in different region are paying different prices for their TL. If you are in Washington state, could you please let me know how much you paid for your 2004 TL(what type of the car please)? from which dealer you get your car? Thanks in advance.

5AT / Anthracite / Ebony / Non-Navi

Purchased from Acura of Lynnwood, here's a hint get an Online Quote from their website and you save 2K

34K + Taxes/Extd War = 38K

I'm loving my tl btw...

Not exactly seattle, I went through the COSTCO auto program with spokane acura after visiting the seattle and bellevue lying pigs. Satin silver non-nav with protection package (rubber floor and trunk mats, mud flaps wheel locks)

$32300

p.s. from the time I walked in traded in the old car till I drove off of the lot was 1 hour. Everyting was done over the phone and internet prior to sale.

Here's food for thought: Acura of Fife quoted me, for AT w/nav, $35,600 plus tax and lic, Acura of Portland, OR quoted $34,195 for same car. Same day, too.

Thanks guys.... please keep posting
I read on this site that a lots of people in east coast paid only a couple hundreds dollars over invoice price, I was hoping that I could get a 5AT w/o Nav at around $31k + tax/licenses fees, seems like that is pretty hard to get in seattle area I don't think getting the car from Oregon is an option here...

Also remember that the King county sales/excise tax is substantially higher on car purchases than anywhere else in the state.

So Vucelick, what is the sale tax percentage in Spokane? King county is 9.1%.

Yeah... they're in Beaverton. I dealt with James Lafleur over the internet, a really friendly guy. I would recommend them over Acura of Portland.

I paid $34,195 (navi) back in March at Acura of Bellevue. Spoiler was extra...I think $600 or something like that. Plus all the taxes and crap.

I paid $33,695 for a 6MT/Nav/HPT at Kendall Acura in Eugene, OR in July. No sales tax to the dealer, but an equivalent amount of use tax when I registered in WA.

Also bought at Kendall

Bought ours in Kendall in Eugene for $31,300 MT/SSM/Non-nav including protection pack. Ordered in June, received a week early at end of July. Easy transaction and nice folks to work with. Got no response from Seattle dealers and Acura of Portland was not really willing to deal.

Yeah I was wondering about that(living in washington buying in Oregon tax wise). So what made you choose to go down there and buy a car? Was it the best deal and if so by how much? How long did you wait to register the car in WA?

Thanks in advance

so Hinshaw's in Fife and Lynnwood are bad news? I'm actually looking for a 2005 in a month or so. 5AT with navi am thinking 34k would be reasonable on msrp of 35470 including destination charges. Been emailing a few dealerships and am not thrilled so far with fife & lynnwood. No word from Seattle. Bellevue seemed ok....so far.
Ron Tonkin is Portland (Beaverton) and seemed ok, just not sure if ok "enough" to go to Portland to buy.

have a casual friend also interested in buying an Acura, an RL though. Do you get more bargaining power with 2 cars? Or am I better off going solo??? Thoughts.

I'm not sure if you are asking me. I can't really say lynnwood is that bad. I've only stopped by once that was last saturday and they kinda forgot about me while I was waiting that pissed me off so I left. Now you have to understand I'm not buying a car till next March I'm just in my early "research" phase right now.

I contacted a around a dozen dealers via e-mail, about half responded. The best prices, far better than anything I found in the Seattle area, were from Kendall and the dealer in Spokane (forget the name). Kendall's price was a couple of hundred better than Spokane, so my family and I made a long weekend of picking it up, spending a couple of days on the coast in Florence.

To Tommyt...I wasn't really responding to your post specifically...the thread in general but that's ok. I've been shopping this car for a while and was waiting on the '05s and would like to buy before the end of the year if not sooner. However, I don't HAVE to buy now and can wait until spring or longer if need be. I don't mind going to Oregon to pick it up but so much depends on the deal. To go to Eugene it'd have to be more than $200 savings for me unless I combine it with a scheduled trip in Dec or Feb.

'04TL NBP, Quartz interior (sweet!), 5AT with mud flaps, trunk liner, wheel locks, a couple of free oil changes, price $31,750 at Lynnwood Acura back in August. Very easy. There the other day to pick up plates - quite a few silver, red and one NBP/ebony.
