I had a random girl walk up to me while i was in my car waiting for my friend at the ATM, Complimenting on my ride and how she wanted one and likes how mine is. Then she started asking what kinda mods i have etc.. After i told her i had a little sound system goin on, she asked if she could hear it. So i turned it to about 18 and she smiled haha.
I told her if she does ever get one then to join Acurazine :P and explained to her what AZ is about

I used to get more attention in my old accord than my TL. Then again my accord was way more modded (and tastefully done). Only comment I've gotten was some kids yelled "nice car" like the day after I got it.

Guilty. I definitely notice the subtle changes to 3G TL's and curiously creep up and drive by to check out any mods. I live vicariously through other 3G TL modders since I've never bothered to mod mine.

oooh i have one story...when i went to trip A to get my car on my policy once I told her it was a TL she said she was looking for one and thought the 3G was the best looking.
She had to take pics of it for insurance purposes (i'm guessing so i dont claim damage that was existing when i bought it) and was just oogling it. She loved the ABP and the interior.
When I got my two rear tires changed at Discount Tire, when I was paying the dude just went over the final details over my car. "A 2004 TL in..automatic, right?"
"No, it's a 6 speed"
"Oh, nice!"
Also while my car was on the rack two guys opened and closed my drivers side door just to look inside. Yea, it's a 6MT. One of the guys came up to me and said he could feel the power it had driving it to the rack. Compared it to his 330i. Total of 3 guys that day.

use to get negative attention because of a sticker i had on my rear windshield, i guess the fad of tapout faded because it says "i beat up kids that wear TAPOUT(logo) shirts"

Get quite a few compliments all over and from all age groups. Nice ride, cool wheels...one of my coworkers was just staring at it like he was in shock or something.
Every time I look at it, I still feel happy and proud I made the right choice. The Aspec kit definitely makes a big difference because it seems to prompt that double-take stare. I know they are thinking, I've seen TL's out there but this one looks different.
