how many ways to change thy station - let me count the ways...

1. Touchscreen

3. Steering wheel
4. Preset Buttons
5. Joystick

What a car!! I love my TL.

Remember when bimmer owners complained about the Idrive. This is how it should be done.

Remember, that is for Navi cars only, non-navi are only nos 3 and 4.

BTW - bmw does have the steering wheel buttons and voice for the radio (along with the idrive thingy)

Good points

- I forgot that only Navi models have that many choices.
- Does the rotary knob allow you to cycle thru presets, or does it just go to the next frequency? I'll have to check that.

Yeah, the knob goes through the frequencies sequentially.
It's the ONLY way to get to a non-preset if you don't have the Navi.

For me, the nav offered to many choices, so rather than get confused, I decided on the non nav.

Poor Z.
I bet at dinner he just orders peas, as other vegetables might confuse him.

Even peas confuse me because there are two many of them. I prefer just one big vegetable that I can cut at my own pace to keep track of the pieces.

But peas are so versatile.
You can boil them.
And, err.. well, boiled peas are really nice.

Perhaps you should just invest in some of those TV dinner plates, that way your food would not touch, and the peas would not roll away.

(Okay, we should get back to the main subject...)

TV dinners are how I keep my sanity.

Good suggestion on the OT.

I would have gotten the nav, but didn't want to pay the extra money which would have worked out to almost $3k more including lack of incentives.

That plus they had a long wait for them in my color combo, so I opted for the less confusing non nav.

Think of how many peas you can buy with the extra money
