I'm about to trade for a TL. I've been waiting to buy A Zaino kit until I get the TL, but now I'm thinking I should buy it now and apply it to help my trade. Good move?

How many applications do you guys get from one Zaino kit?

 

Allowing about 1 oz of Zaino polish per applcation, you should get 8.

 

A cleaner car won't impress a dealership as much as an individual buyer, because the dealership is going to detail the vehicle before selling off at auction or re-selling on their lot. But, it will help your trade if your trade-in is a cherry. If you have the spare time I'd go for it.

I Zaino'd my wife's Pilot last weekend. Each coat of Zaino takes 3/4 oz. of polish on her Pilot, so that's about 10 coats in a bottle. The kit comes with 2 claybars, and you can split them in half before use, so you'll have four claybar applications. The gloss enhancing spray will probably go 20 times on a vehicle.

In other words, you're going to have plenty of stuff to work with when you buy the kit. And, you can practice on the old car.

If you want to scrimp, use the Claybar only with another cheap wax. The Claybar is amazing, how much impact it has on raising the brilliance on your paint.
