You can read about the process on the internet. www.riv.ca is good for knowing what to do. And RIV are the canadian border people who import your car at the border. Here's another good article that printed out and kept with me the whole time. It's about a guy who imported his toyota. http://www.mr2.com/TEXT/Import.html Read these and to find a car, i would check out www.autotrader.com and type in washington and see what acura's come up. Lots for sale. By the way you pay no duty or US taxes on your car, just a $200 fee to RIV and GST at the border then PST when you insure your car.

I found my car on net, talked to dealer about it, went there on a sunday to check it out, bought it with downpayment, came back to Burnaby. Next day wired dealership full amount for car. (you have to wait 72 hours after sending the US border the info about your car like bill of sale, title, vin #. Drove back thursday night to dealer, picked up car drove back and slept in car at Blaine. Woke up at 8am and exported car out've US. (you can only export between 8am-3:30pm mon-fri.) Car was home. Had to wait about 10 days to get this import letter from canadian border, then you get car inspected and insured. Acura's need daytime running lights installed. When i had my car, it was about a week and a half later til it was insured. Crazy process but worth it.
