Aquineas - what part of Austin do you live? Do you have any mods? I'm looking to do some work on my audio but not sure who to trust in this town.

I took a brief sprint up to 110 on an on ramp to Hwy 114. It starts with a little downward dip then flattens out. By the time I met the freeway I was reaching to tap the brake, not enough straight away to keep it going. It was my first post-breakin stomp. I'm looking forward to the next.

after getting a detector - usually not less than 90, up to 110.

After my lemon-law settlement was final I went down the I75/85 connector one morning (3am) at 150, I think I hit 160 but at that speed my brain was slower than life. The car was just SWEET. I've done 125 in my 98 Accord a few times, 130 once.

Mods: Why was this thread not closed ?

These people are in a pissing contest and are clearly violating the laws.

Vancouver has a litteny of dead people due to street racers, drunks and both.

I haven't reached the speeds noted in this thread, but my '04TL certainly doesn't have the top end legs to reach the top speeds claimed in a reasonable amount of time. I find the 5AT runs out of juice at the top end unless you use 4th.

Never driven a TL on the freeway, but I took my old 93 Lexus ES300 to 140 mph on the 241 Toll Road in Orange County, CA....maxxed that shit out!!!! It was downhill and the G-forces dragged me down faster and faster....

Car I have now, which is a 2000 Lexus ES300, took it to 130 once on the I-15 in Ontario, coming back from the high desert.

Last night at about 3:00 am I was doing 160 mph closing in on 170 heading North out of San Antonio to this white castle in the Hill Country where silk sheets and free flowing beer awaited us and the nav unit was flying and the xm radio was on BPM at about 75% volume and I had Eva Longoria with me with her long legs exposed all the way up to her and she looked at me with a sly smile...then I had to wake up to go P...damn!
