How do you remove the exhaust outlets?

How do you remove the exhaust outlets?

I am wondering how to remove the 2 muffler outlets above the chrome tips on the 3G TL. I want to remove them and cover the in carbon fibre...anyone know how to remove them?

they clip right out with a flat head...

take the bumper off which is very easy and then u can use a flat head to take the clip out..

can you remove them without removing the bumper?

dumb question, but are they called exhuast outlets? do they have a carbon fibre replacement part, or do you think they'd look better iin chrome

there is no carbon fiber replacement part. if its chrome it will without a doubt chip and most likely flake from the head unless u use high temp paint
