Wow, is it really that easy? Just a pop out from inside the trunk, behind the liner, and plug the new one in?
It bothers me that they don't match on my 04 and I may have to pick these up as well.

[QUOTE=you might have to be a little creative on the plug and connectors some ppl complaint that the lights are not flushed with rest of the body.... well, mine was flushed and looks like it's been there from day one [/QUOTE]
A little creative with the plug connectors! Lets just say the new piece ie: the TL-S side marker is a different shape(the plug) than the plug that is attached to your car. You have to really push to get it in there and even then it will not fit like the OEM one, just a heads up. I did mine and it looks great and is flush but just knowing that it doesnt fit very well in the inside really urks me. I wish someone had mentioned that before I did mine. Now you know.

If it bothers you that much, you can go to acura and order the tl's connector pop the pins out of the regular tl connector and pop them into the new connector without cutting any wires! The connectors shouldnt be too costly either, but as long as it works its probably not worth the hassle.

Thanks Xx06SickspdTlxX for the advice but like you said, they work so I am leaving them alone! With my luck if I went back in there to try to change it I would make it even worse and then nothing would work.

Actually, it was mentioned. In a whole thread with pictures and everything.

I was worried about the different plugs at first too, but once I got the new ones, and put them in, I was fine. It's really not a big deal, the 07 sidemarkers still go on fine with the other plugs, and they fit into the original hole. It really is a very simple mod that looks great.

Thanks guys, that link above really helped.
I just ordered them from Tim.
Since painting the TL logo on the All weather mats and a Wood Grain shift knob don't really count, this will be my first mod.

You should remove the front liscense plate and insert put the ACURA logo inserts from Veneerz.com in brused aluminum, it'll look awesome. That's what I am doing but Veneerz has a long back order.

I agree that looks great, but I am afraid to go without front plates in NY.
Despite being an attorney and knowing most the local cops, I know that no front plates will lead to getting pulled over more.
Any good place to move the plate?

Haha yeah I just did it in my work parking garage. No tools needed and it took under 10 minutes.
Everything went real smooth, except the right side looks a little bit more flush than the left side does, but its very slight and probably only I will notice.
Seeing all the dirt that was underneath the red stock ones means that they aren't perfectly flush even from the factory so I think its non issue.
I'll post pics when I get home

Not sure about swapping the tails yet, I think for me they may be "too ricey" as they say.

(correct me if I'm wrong) but I think you transfer the actual LED panel from the stock lights onto the new 07 when you buy the 07 upgrade tails.....
