How did you mount your Type S Aspec bumper garnish?

How did you mount your Type S Aspec bumper garnish?

I recently did the rear type-s aspec lip conversion but i cant figure out a way to mount the honeycomb piece to the lip any ideas,tip etc would be helpful.

Note: I do not have a type s

I've seen a thread on this recently...

One fix is to put just a regular wire mesh grill there (you can paint it black so it's there but not that noticable like silver mesh. If you want the OEM mesh in there, I remember seeing the OEM mesh had to be cut to fit in there if you have the base 04-06 bumper. Otherwise, if you want a TRUE OEM fitment with the Type S Aspec lip, then get the OEM Type S rear bumper...

Yeah ive seen that thread too, cutting it to fit is what im leaning towards im just seeing if anyone came up with and easier route

other than going to lowes and picking up a gutter guard and liquid nail it in, that would be the easy route I think...

I WENT THE GHETTO ROUTE.... I tapped the hell out of it using heavy duty construction tape all throughout the inside of it, looks really flush and nice didnt cut anything at all just stays in place hopes this help

DUCK tape = magical and oem

i sat there thinking for 20 minutes how to get the dam thing on and then realized with duck tape the garnish is going nowhere

looks completely flush check out my thread for close up pics
