Thumbs up Houston dealers?

John Eagle
Goodman
Sterling McCall

Where did you get yours? I'm finally biting the bullit, and doing this. 6MT w/nav , not sure on color yet. But I'm going to crunch numbers and do it.

Who's got the best offer in H Town? And what is up w/ the Texans ?

I think a few of you have said 32,400.

Thanks, future official TL member.

My friend just got his from John Eagle. $33100 for 05, Auto with Navi. It was the best he could find in Houston. Dallas dealers seem to offer better prices.

BTW, there are 4 dealers in Houston. John Eagle, Gillman, Sterling McCall, and Champions (Auto Nation).

I bought my 2004 TSX from Champions in July 2003 when the demand was very high. I was able to get it for about $2000 below MSRP when almost every other dealer was selling them with no discount.

BTW, people on the west coast and some other areas seem to be getting their TL's up to a grand cheaper.

Thanks! I have heard lower.

The funny thing is, that they all claim that they have the only remaining 6MT's in stock. It's hilarious. Someone told me yesterday that they knew of only 4 in Texas!!!

Just bought my TL (NBP, 05, 6MT) for a little over $31k about a month ago from John Eagle. They were the cheapest in Houston, but you should check Austin dealers as well.

It didn't seem to be all that easy to find 6MT around Houston though.

I got mine from Champion. Although the dealership itself looks crappy, I was happy with my salesman (David Le) and he gave me a real good deal.

You mentioned paying $35470 for your car. Was that out of door? Is it before the A-Spec? If it's out of door with A-Spec than it would be a hell of a deal.

You have a problem with the Houston dealerships... they talk a good game and do not want to give in to price reduction... they will wait you out.

I bought a 2004 19 months ago... the best I was given was $500 off.. got a written quote from Dallas for $1600 off and then Goodman matched. McCall said they would not touch that price...

I also was told a lot about only a few 6 speeds in Texas... but they had one on the lot within a week for me.

I would go to Dallas to save $1,000 and they knew it...
