Hood work

I need some help please. Yesterday I tapped a guy driving a truck in front of me and his bumper bent in the front of my hood. I am not sure if the hood was bent but the sliver bar above the acura symbol was pushed in. I didn't even notice it at first, then I picked up the hood and the silver part was a little cracked on the bottom. Now when I close the hood it is slightly open (not too noticible). I want to know if I can just replace the sliver bar on the top. Has this ever happened to anyone, I was barely moving and it did that damage.

yes... you can purchase that silver trim seperately from Acura... it's like $40 - $60... depending where you purchase it... Check this... https://www.acuraautomotiveparts.org...prddisplay.jsp

Do you know what the name of the part is, or the part number?
