The only reason why it's okay for Integras/RSXs to have a red (JDM) Honda badge is because those cars were made as Hondas in Japan.
The TL on the otherhand, was only made in NA, so no JDM.

The TL was designed in the US and built in Ohio for the North American market; it is only sold as an Acura in North America, China, etc.
Welcome to AZ.

SHAWD 04TL is in
Fast forward 6 years. Now the TL can be found in other parts of the world like China & Mexico, as an ACURA.
Most people never understood the concept that ACURA is and always will be the first JAPANESE luxury brand to be sold in the US as early as 1986. Lexus came later in 89.
So people have pride in your ACURA!

I just know they can't just run in and set up shop in Japan with only a few unique models. It wont go over well

You are correct. No Honda badge will do for this Generation TL. To put it into perspective: If you have a 3G TL you are officially an owner of the FIRST ACURA ever made! All other acuras before this were made as Hondas then rebadged as Acuras. Your TL exists in no other way, as any other make period (ie Honda overseas counterpart) This is the ONLY car made by ACURA that when released, made enthusiasts FROM JAPAN EXPORTthe TL, from the U.S. ports of Long Beach or SF.

The only Honda emblem (thinking about it, I don't even know if it is an emblem or just the name itself) that is visible on my car from the outside is on my '04 windows. I recommend keeping it that way. But it's your car. You can put a Lexus symbol on it, and I wouldn't care one way or the other (even though I might make a snide remark outside of ear range).

I can understand why you would do this... but this particular 3G TL design doesn't exist in Japan. Therefore.. it's not a real Honda branded car.
I can see if you want to put it on your Acura RSX, or Integra... but not 3G TL

About his car being able to sport one, no.
Hell yeah his car is sexy and powerful, but just because it is, doesn't mean his car could have a Honda badge...
Who knows?
What if the OP is sporting a sexy powerful ride, comparable to Eric's TL.
Doesn't change anything; hell no to the JDM Honda badge on a car exclusive to North America

I guess Eric had a change of heart.
Oh, BTW... With the exception of the NSX (and the 3G TL of course), I don't view most Honda products as "sexy" or "powerful"... lol
