Are Honda/Acura TPMS Transmitters Standard Across Lineup?

I bought a set of OEM wheels for my Honda S2000 that came with TPMS transmitters, and my S2000 does not support TPMS.

That said, my 2008 Acura TL has at least one (or more) non-functioning TPMS transmitters.

Are my S2000 TPMS sensors compatible with my 2008 Acura TL?

I know Honda/Acura uses a lot of similar/identical components in their vehicles, and I am hoping this is one of them!

it may work they do operate on the same frequency of 315 Mhz as far as my googling skills show, but have different part numbers.

Get to one of those places that do tires. They should have a scan tool that can do TPMS stuff. If they set the tool to read sensors from 2008 Acura TL and tool successfully reads your sensors then there's 90% of chance they will work. If tool doesn't read them they won't work.

Otherwise no way to tell as part numbers will be different.
