A-Hole Maxima driver owned last night

Drivin down to PA with 2 of my friends for the weekend last night and of course we're havin some fun driving down... Traveling on 202 (2 lanes, 55 zone) i was in the right lane, 4th gen Maxima in the passing lane pacing me exactly but keeping ~3 car lengths back. We're both cruising ~60 or so as we start to come up on two Mack trucks in my lane. Naturally I decide to speed up a little to get in front of the Maxima as to pass the trucks. Give my car a lil more gas (leaving it in 5th) and i find the Maxima starts to speed up as well. So I downshift to 4th, give a little more gas (bout 70 now) and I see the Maxima "jump" some and start to pull past me. At this point I realize the Maxi-pad driver is probably the asshole type who, if i pulled in behind him, would slow down and exactly pace the Mack trucks as to piss me off. So i figured screw that, I'll blow his doors off, and shift into 3rd (we're probably going 80 by now). He had ~ 5-8 mph advantage on my when I downshifted to 3rd, and about 4 seconds later i'm in front of him... he didnt have a prayer.

My friends were loving it, especially because he was alone and we had 3 people plus like 6 bags. I'd like to thank Ebay for my $110 headers that make a HUGE difference! haha

Fun night

so with the mack truck in front of you and the Maxima in back of you by few car length... you still cut in between them? That's quite dangerous.

good run though.

Yes, that's correct, had ~300 feet between the trucks and myself when cutting in, so could have been worse, but yeah, tad dangerous, I won't argue that. Was it worth it to own the Maxima? that time, yes... he pulled the "won't pull along side to give thumbs up" maneuver after too, guess he thought he would have beaten me
