Lets hope the new Type S actually something worth waiting for, so far Acura deliver nothing but hype....

Seems they have been measuring demographical public interest.

Heard that some of, maybe all of, the newer Acuras have that awful autostop feature? If so, really hope the Type S doesn't have it. I hope the Type S is a reality too because I'd definitely consider buying one.

I'm also hoping it's made in Japan, but I know that's not happening.

I saw that video, Ikeda understands Acura suck in sedan sales and design overall since 2008. He cleaned up the refresh of the TLX and having a hand in Aspec helped sales. Even the ILX looks better. The one thing about the TLX interior like they touched on in the video is it just looks old and outdated and doesn't match the exterior of the car. I like a tight fitted cabin and the TLX just feels like it has a ton of wasted space. I think the base TLX will look really good and they will dress it up more for Tech/Advance and look gorgeous once the Type-S drops. Type-S will approach 350hp but I don't see base over 300.
