whats up...i have an 08 tls i bought an hid kit do i have to take the front bumper off or can i go throw the splash guard????? before i take a look lol

 

Maybe pictures will help. This is what I did. I used the car battery to power up the ballast thus needing relays and a bunch of wires. For me, taking off the bumper is required. The two circles are where I bolted my ballast (behind the crash bar). Red lines are about where the wires go which is tied onto the bars. Right side, wire goes in around where the intake is and goes up into the battery. Relay is placed there too.
I'd recommand taking off the bumper also because you need to mount the ballast. It'll be hard to find a nice place w/o taking the bumper off.

 

thanks...yea i was trying to figure out a way to not take the bumper off last night and decided to just take it off!! i put 12,000k's in they look amazing!

 

You pulled the bumper off a brand new 08 TLS already? Wow, you have more guts than I do...

 

i mounted my ballast exactly where he did in the picture. taking off the bumper isnt that hard to do. it was actually quite easy.

 

picturesssssssss, im getting mine done as we speak but im only doing 8000k on an 08 TL-S

 

He's gonna remove the headlights soon i would think
