HID Fog Lights (thoughts on them??)
I'm looking to do something different with my stock fog lights as the stock yellow light is horrid.. I was debating going with a 6000K HID Kit (same as our stock headlights I believe) to make it look a little cleaner.. That or I was going to go with the Mercedes style fog light LED bar..
What are your guys' thoughts on this? Any suggestions? Different ways to go about this??

Stock headlights != 6000K. Stock is around 4300K. It depends what you want to match. The actual light that you see projected on the road (4300K) or the refracted light that oncoming traffic sees from above the cutoff shield (looks closer to 6000K). I've been considering some HIDs for my fog lights, but I'm concerned about how much glare will be produced since they're halogen housings.

I have 5000k in my fogs. They look great and the glare isnt too bad. Spend the extra few bucks, get a decent kit and a RELAY. I cant stress the relay highly enough.
Also do a search, there are alot of threads on this topic already

5000k will match up pretty good with the stock headlights. Most people just match the headlights or go with the yellow fogs.

Thanks for the heads up on the relay. I'll definitely be going this route if I decide against the mercedes style LED bar.. I'm leaning towards the bar because it's different than what the majority of people do here, and I think it will look good with the halos i'm having installed..

^^ I've heard alot of people have been having problems with the halos, you might want to looking into those before making the purchase, and why put Mercedes style LED bar?!? You drive an Acura do something different, do you really want your Acura to say Mercedes?

i feel like my stock headlights arent 4300 when i turn them on they start as purple then go blueish and they have a blueish purple coloring on the edges and look like an absolute white on things like garage door etc.

Plus as the 4300K bulbs age, their color shifts a little toward a 5000K color.
