HID Fog Light Problem

HID Fog Light Problem
I just installed the HID fog light kit on my 06 TL, everything works well, however I am having a little problem.
When I get out of the car without turning off the headlight or fog lights and I close the door, the light go off after about 15 seconds like they should. But when I return to the car and I unlock the door the light come back on and everything is fine until I start the car. When I start the car the driver's side fog light goes off and does not come back on. I have to either switch the flog lights off and back on, or just turn on the high beam and back to low beam and the flog light will come back on. This does not happen to the passenger side fog light. I do not know if anyone else has had this problem with their HID fog lights that they installed. If the engine is already running and then I turn on the lights this does not happen. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am wondering if I have a bad ballast on that side of the car
Thanks,
Gordon

Maybe it's the igniter or the ballaster......when I change my driving Hid's, I installed the 6000K bulbs and I was having the same problem. Acura had did the install and they were working well. It was when my guy that's banned from the Zine cleared my headlights and painted the inside the body color of the car RRP. He realized that the bulb wasn't put in properly, which resulted in the igniter and the ballaster going bad all replaced under warranty. Due to the fact that Acura installed the aftermaket bulbs. My electronics guy suggested a voltage regulator, to regulate the voltage I think that's the name he called it could be wrong.....but I know it has something to do with the voltage.

Its the voltage being shortened on the amount of current draw when you start your car. Thats why you should have your lights off when you start your car. Since HIDs don't really dim out they just shut off when the power gets low. Hence is why you neve see them "dim" out like normal halogen bulbs.
