HFL and Phone Book

HFL and Phone Book
I entered a half dozen or so numbers into the HFL phone book today. Is it just me, or does the HFL insert spurious digits (usually 0's and 8's) into your phone numbers? If I say a number like:
1-800-555-1212
it might get read back to me as:
1880085551212
i.e. all the digits I spoke are there, with a few others thrown in between. I have to hit cancel and speak the number two or three times before the system hears it correctly. Doesn't happen on every phone number, either.
Has this happened to you?
