I'm going to order or build a sub box while waiting for my car. Would anybody be willing to measure something?

I plan to place the box in the rear of the trunk on the left side. Is that cubbyhole area at least 16" wide and 16" tall? If not what are the dimensions (smallest spots).

If you are talking about the cubbyhole nearest to you when you open the trunk, it is only about 8"x12", and maybe 6" high because of the trunk supports. In order to get a box 16X16 in there, you would have to be about 8" from the left side. The sub would then go to about the middle of the trunk, and about halfway back to the inside wall.
