hi all i'm new to the forum. found it while doing some googling. great place you guys have! i wish i had found it sooner.

someone scratched my 04 Anthracite while i was at the grocery store i had purposly parked far from the main entrance to minalize the risk of this excact thing happening to my baby.

can anyone recomend a good shop to get a paint job in nyc? i live in manhattan but anywhere in the city is good as long as they're good. i took it to acura manhattan and was quoted $1450!!!

any help is greatly apreciated.

that looks like a paint rub as if his front bumper just rubbed across ur paint, you could try to use compound to minimize it and then see if he harmed your paint and how bad it is. From there, umm there are a ton of body shops on McDonald Ave in brooklyn.. I had the same happen to my back bumper but im waiting for the spring to fix it because the winter is not a good time to do it. Good luck and hope I helped.

Yea first take it to a car wash and see if they can rub it off for you using a compound or other cleaner. It might just need a good buff. It should get of most of the other guys paint. After that if you see a dent there and want to get it fixed, I know a very good shop up in Westchester. They mostly do luxury cars but they're reasonably priced. I brought my brand new blue metallic RSX there after my wife ran the right side across a parked van and they brought it back to showroom condition. I know it's a long drive from the city but he's really good. Ask for Tony.
