If M/T is what you're looking for, trans shifts fine with no 3rd gear problem, clutch seems good, tires, brakes and everything elso tip top, decent price, not a bargin, but decent, but the 105k service is coming due $600-$1100 depending on the shop. Small dent could run some money depending on the area and color.

Just don't get overwhelmed by the car and overlook needed items that need replacement, or are well worn.

6MT are hard to find.. get a carfax and a mechanic to take a look at it.. rare car and if running fine then worth it for low miles.. and since it is 7 years you need to do the 105k change sooner than later... the book says 105k or 7 years... well i think it does.. eitehr way my mechanic wants me to get it done since it is best to get the belts changed out now

I got a 04 6MT used and do not regret it at all.. love every time I drive it

WOW;didn't know I needed to be specific.
For those that actually answered my question: car ran fine;shifted surprisingly smooth.original owner..had a couple of small dents near the dog leg. and a small crack in bumper. compliance bushings were on their way out also. only thing that bugs me the most is the dents. I actually work at ACURA so prices on parts are very..very..cheap for me. lol

Not the greatest deal, esp from a private sell, but 6MTs are getting harder and harder to find so I'm not sure. If it's worth it to you...

I wouldnt count the conversion towards the value of the car, imo. In the end it's a 7 year old car mechanically. Got mine for 14k flat as well with 52k miles. Do get it inspected though.

I would consider doing some negotiating on the price. The car in good condition would go for that. Use the negative aspects for bargaining (considering he /wants/ your money, you have leverage). Don't go too far, or get emotional. Just throw a good offer on the table.

Also keep in mind it has been modified, who knows how the original owner drives his/her car.

I was only playing. No need to get butt hurt. Good luck with your purchase.

Bought my 04tl 6mt 64,141k w/ navi 2 and half months ago for 13k. I would definitely try to go lower on that price...

You mentioned that it's been converted to an 08 Type-S- does this imply body damage and when repaired, the prior owner did the conversion? Any airbag deployment? Salvage title?
