HELP!!! Gas hissing out of car

Hey all i was just washing my car when i heard a hissing coming from the front passenger side of the car. I looked thru the bumper grill and there is some sort of gas hissing out of a little silver box with a silver tube connected to it. Is this my freon or something? I thought the bolt was loose so i tried to tighten it but it wont stop any ideas and is my car safe to drive?

Ahh i took a quick pic with my phone. This is taken facing the front of the car on the left (passenger) side toward the inside of the bumper grill. You can see that silver box with a bolt to the right of it and thats where it was hissing out

Looks like that might be the AC condensor. Go see your friendly dealer and my guess is that you need work on the air conditioner. Probably the hiss is the freon escaping. If the system is "open" very long (all the freon out) you could be asking for more trouble than what you have now.

If you mean where a couple of metal lines come in, there is probably some soldered joints- thats part of the ac- and tightening bolts that use an oring is not going to help
Right now it shoudl be empty of freon- it doesnt take long-
If you have a miracle covers all warranty get to the dealer asap and NO use of the ac- which also means no defroster use
Otherwise look in phone book for AC repair shops- its a special field
Could be a rock hit the mini radiator for the ac, could be a seal broke...
