First time poster--
I currently own an 02 Type S TL and after reading a ton pf post on this site and other reviews, I’m now in the market for an 04 TL 6 SD with NAV. I’ve read so many different posts on what people have paid for their 04 TL that I’m thoroughly confused. I’ve seen people quote as low as $31,800 on a NAV or $32,700 out the door. These prices seem great but are they truly accurate. Anyone buy in Chicago can you please help. I want to figure out what my starting point should be with negotiating.
Thanks for Your Help

if someone posted 31.8 for nav, find out where and get that price. that's so low if you go in with that number they might think you're trying to jerk them off, but if someone is vouching that a specific dealer gave them that price you should be able to get it. it does seem unrealistic though.
i got 30.8 non-nav w/ wheel locks and splash guards. i'm pretty sure that's a good price in chicago area. demand a lot for your trade in too, they seemed to be more flexible with that than what they'd take off the msrp.

I got my Anthracite/Ebony/Navi/6 spd with Protection Package (wheel locks, all season mats, splash guards) for $33, 695. From Woodfield Acura, saleman was Ruben Perez (short older man). They have good service and are willing to negotiate. I would use my price as a starting point and see if you can get lower. The best of luck to you ![Smile](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
EDIT: That price is BEFORE tax, after tax it was $36,282

woodfield told me to blow myself, i couldn't believe it.
rorman on grand and palatine acura on dundee were within 100$ of each other. they're both a little shady, but who cares. they know when you're serious.

If a Chicagoland Acura dealer offers you a new (not a demo) 04 TL with navi for $32,700 out the door:
a) Jump on it right then and there before they have a chance to change their mind.
b) If the offer turns out to be $32700 plus T&L, jump on it right then and there before they have a chance to change their mind.
c) You rule.

Until recently, it was almost impossible to FIND a 6MT with Navi in the Chicago area, let alone deal for one. I honestly had three dealers tell me to wait until the 2005's are out. I put down $500 and waited for one to come into McGrath Acura in Westmont. Noble Jones was the salesman - fantastic guy - great service - but no dealing. I have been there twice since I bought it and they haven't had any in stock either time. Both times the sales guys have surrounded the car like they have never seen one before.
If you find one - buy it. It rocks.
