Help Attaching Front License Plate -

I have an 05 glorified Accord AKA Honda TL and I need to attach a front license plate. Our state mandates a front plate and after 3 years we got finally got stopped and accessed a small fine I think $60.00 or $80.00.

Here is a picture of what I pulled from my pile of parts.

The items tagged "TWO" are the small plastic circles that I removed from the front bumper. "ONE" is the plate holder I was given and it points to two holes. I thought these would line up with the holes revealed by removing "ONE" but they do not. I do not see any way of making this work without drilling and this plate holder just doesn't feel right. Item "THREE" are 4 larger pointy screws, no idea if these are what go in the bumper or what are used to hold the plate.

I am looking for some ideas here, any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
SuM

FWIW, that doesn't look like the front plate bracket on my '05 TL. The areas of the bracket surrounding the plate extend straight back towards the bumper; your bracket looks too complex.

that is not a front plate holder for a 04-07

i know,
i too got a fix- it ticket for no front plate. i temporarily put mine on. i screwed on 4 suction cups to the plate holder. stuck it on, got the ticket singed off. then drove straight home and pulled it off in like 3 seconds. i hate the look of the front plate.

Exactly why we never put the plate on the front to begin with. My wife drives this automobile so I need to bring it legal for her sake. Thanks again everyone,

Not a 3G plate holder. Go to your acura dealer and get the specific one.

If you drive in the same area a good deal, chances are you will run into the same 5-0 who pulled you over originally and if he remembers you, and remembers that you didnt have it last time, and supposedly you had it fixed for the courts. You gonna be in a heap of trouble.

I have just finished installing the plate holder and the license plate. I wanted to post a picture of the TL licsense plate holder in the event this thread ever surfaces again. Its the one in the front closest to us.

Sorry, you could close your eyes and imagine just about any TL with a front license plate. Mine happens to be blue.
