Hey guys -Im doing the light mod and I cant figure out how to get the rear covers off - I dont want to pry them off unless thats the right way to do it so can someone explain the rear cover removal to me?

Sorry about posting this yet again but I onyl seem to find front removal instructions in the searches I do.

The service manual says to remove the trunk side panel, and then carefully push the light out from the inside. So it looks like it just slides out, but I am not sure you could pry it out. I cant tell from the picture, but the light has a rectangular body, and if there is no room to spare on the sides, then you couldn't just pry it out because the side of the marker light would hit the fender metal.

If you are going to remove the trunk side panel, there are two different clips and five screws in the left side panel, and 2 different clips, 4 screws and 1 bolt in the right side panel.
